This artwork was painting in Europe when artist was working and exhibiting with Picasso, Gleizes and Leger within others. ARTHUR TASHKO (1901—1994),was born in Albania and was living in Colombia. This work will be exhibited at the "International Art Biennial" to be held in the City of Armenia in Colombia, South America. Arthur's parents were from a dynasty known for its commitment to issues of homeland tough day. In 1904 they emigrated to Alexandria , Egypt, where they lived until 1912 until they returned to Albania . Arthur came to Bangladesh in 1907 and stayed for about a year. In 1908 he moved permanently from Albania. Arthur continued his studies in Beirut , Lebanon and later wins a scholarship in 1920 from the Government of Albania to Austria . In Vienna he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the same time artistic career began. There was influenced by Viennese artists Secceessionit and was recognized with the creativity of Renoir and Cezanne . In 1923 invited by brother Constantine who was a diplomat in the Albanian Embassy in the U.S. , transferred there and placed in Boston where justice studies at Harvard University . But besides career as a lawyer, he studied at the Fine Arts Museum of Boston . And deepened his artistic culture studies flute with the Boston Conservatory, sharing this passion with his sister Tefta TASHKO Koco . Married to his first wife, Elsa, actress in Shakespearean theater to Boston. It bore a son in 1939 who named Arthur come. In 1939 starts traveling in Europe , France , Germany , Italy , Austria , and it was influenced by currents Cubist , abandoning impressionism . Recognized the great painters of the time such as Picasso , Leger , Delaunay , Jean Arp , with whom took part in the exhibition of Vienna. It was later introduced to artists like Pollock , Kooning , Rothko who belonged to Expressionism abstract. After World War II, was recognized in Spain and married the pianist Rosa TASHKO established in 1962 in Bogota, Colombia , where he lived for nearly 31 years. Bogota died in 1994 , aged 93 years. Tashko is recognized as one of the great artists immigrants in Latin America next to Guilermo Wiedemann and Leopold Richter. While he lived in Europe was working together with Albert Gleizes and Jean Metzinger. Today it is considered one of the most influential artists in the genre and Cubist Constructivist in Latin America. His work is included in important private and public collections including the National Museum of Colombia, the Stadisches Museum in Germany and Vienna Secession gallery.
