Edgar Acero Luna was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, the same place where the Catrina "Guadalupe Posada" began.

Edgar has preserved the customs of his hometown and that is how he began to take artistic nude photography showing the customs of his region.

The technique and his compositions have been influenced by Terry Richardson and the flourishing of Mexican cinema during the 1970s and 1980s including the work of Tinto Brass and the cinema of Ficheras. His photographs are collected by private collectors all over the world.
