About the Artist: “What makes you push the shutter has to do with seeking a kind of perfection, a harmony in the world,” photographer Sylvia Plachy has said. Plachy is master at noticing moments that speak to larger truths in life and shooting them with her signature Holga camera, which lends her images an eerie atmospheric quality. Her portraits and photo essays find humanity through intimate glimpses into many ways of life; her images of the people, places, and even animals of New York City have been regularly featured in publications including the Village Voice and The New Yorker, and her work has won her a Guggenheim Fellowship and the admiration of many. “She makes me laugh and she breaks my heart,” Richard Avedon once said of Plachy. “She is moral. About the Shipping: This lot will be shipped directly by LACP in Los Angeles, CA. The H&S will add by Artelisted to the invoice. The shipping will be via USPS or UPS with a tracking number. The payment will be protected by Artelisted until the item has been received to the satisfaction of the buyer or 5 days after the registration of the receipt by the tracking of the carrier. Any disagreement must be reported during the 5 days mentioned. Then no claims of any kind will be accepted by Artelisted. Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Ask us if you want to add insurance cost. Note that if there is loss or damage due to bad handling by the transporter, this loss will be assumed only by the buyer. Shipping
We mainly ship via USPS Priority or First Class.
-Only small lot(s) could be H&S directly from Artelisted via USPS into the USA. Note that the insurance is not included (contact us if you desire insurance).
-Large items might be coordinated with a private shipper. You can research shipper companies. Our Zip Code 33428. Artelisted will keep the option to don't deliver large staff. We can help coordinating the staff to a another shipper. Buyer will pay handling, shipping, and insurance (if desired) costs. Shipping costs depends on final destination.
Sometimes the items are in the owner possession. In this case the shipping will be from a third party delivery.
In this case as a trusted third-party Artelisted collects, holds in an escrow account)and disperses payments once buyers and sellers are satisfied.
STEP 1
Final costs are calculated (including shipping), and the buyer submits payment through Paypal, Credit Card, or Wire Transfer.
STEP 2
After the payment is verified, the seller sends the painting within ten days. Artelisted ensures that paintings are sent with a tracking number. Insurance is purchased at the cost and discretion of the seller.

If you are discontent you have five days, from the confirmed shipping delivery date, to send an email to [email protected]. If you choose to return the lot, you the buyer, will be responsible for shipping, shipping insurance costs and all the buyers premiums.
